This tool allows you to create a profile outline from an original key, to aid finding a suitable key blank.

A useful tool for finding the correct blank.
Simply put the original key in and wafer-thin shims slide across to meet it.
Once the shims have been pushed into key, lock them into place and remove key.
The locked shims have produced an exact key hole for you to try different blanks to see if they fit in the hole.
